PLEASE CHECK YOUR MAILBOX OFTEN FOR PAPERS--THE EVENT RESPONSE FORMS HAVE ALL THE DETAILS FOR EACH EVENT.  PLEASE RETURN THE FORM WHETHER OR NOT YOU CAN ATTEND!!!  THE CHURCH’S NEW POLICY CLEARLY STATES THAT NO YOUTH MAY ATTEND AN EVENT WITHOUT A SIGNED FORM.  YOU  MUST TURN IN THE FORM IF YOU WANT TO ATTEND!!!

 

Sunday, September 23	Kick-off event – had a great time at Heisler’s!!
Sunday, October 28	6 p.m. hayride - dress warm (maybe even bring a blanket) for this 1/2 hr hayride - bring snacks to share with everyone – then enjoy the Haunted Rooms
Sun, Nov 4, 11, 18	Everyone is invited to take tags from the Giving Tree
Sunday, November 11	Please support the congregation's basket bingo party!!
Sunday, November 18	Bowling, make crafts for shut-ins
Sunday, November 25	Deadline for gifts to be brought in and placed by the tree
Sunday, December 2	Have lunch, shop for families in need, have a Christmas party with a gift exchange game
Sunday, December 9	Birthday party for Jesus--sign up for covered dish food item to share
Sunday, December 30	Undecorate the Christmas decorations in the church then go to the movies

Fri, Feb 15-Sun, Feb 17	Youth Quake
Fri-Sat, Feb 22-23	Go to Jenny's Country Manor to play bingo with residents, sleepover at church, make crafts for shut-ins, begin work on Youth Sunday, snow tubing or may have option to do a snowboarding package (including lesson)
Sunday, March 16	Easter basket service project – make candy at Waldrons, work on Youth Sunday, free time stuff (ping pong, video     games, foosball)
Friday, March 21	Load baskets prior to Good Friday Worship Service
Saturday, March 22	5th & 6th graders attend the egg hunt with SCS class
Sunday, March TBA	We’ll try to do a brief practice on bells on a Sunday when the Bell Choir plays
Saturday, April 12	Rehearsal for Youth Sunday
Fri-Sat, April 25-26	Rock-a-thon for World Hunger – collect pledges for World Hunger and then stay up all night in a rocking-chair watching movies, playing video games, playing board games, and learning about World Hunger
Sunday, May 18	Ozzy’s, make crafts for shut-ins
Saturday, June 7	Go to diner and clean a stream project—last year was first time doing this super-fun event – wear old sneakers and walk the stream finding trash and amazing stuff in the stream
Sat-Sun, June 7-8	We encourage everyone to sign up as a family to help at                                          the Church picnic!!
Sunday, June 15	Hand out Father’s Day gifts after Worship Service
Fri-Sun, July 25-27	Weekend retreat at Robin Hill Campground (stay in huge building, enjoy paddle boats, swimming pool, game    room, campfire with s’mores, make crafts for shut-ins – on Saturday we’ll do fun           activities at Dutch Springs like   their aqua park, sky challenge, and low ropes course – the entire weekend will be based on a theme like Trust including our own Worship Service)
Friday, August 22	Go to Jenny’s to play bingo with the residents then go to                                        a drive-in movie
